WHO I AM

I do not belong to people who can just naturally sit still in peace and in full concentration, thoughts are circling in my mind, I rapidly assess situations, I make quick judgments, I’m twirling...

The fact that kundalini yoga itself is active, unpredictable, as well as physical and subtle...

The fact that it works fast on many levels... 

The fact that it enhances immunity and strengthens the nervous and hormonal systems...

The fact that it requires discipline and connecting with oneself...

The fact that even without my knowledge it corrects, empties, detoxifies...

The fact that it focuses on the gift of breath and that it can put such a person as I into a deep revitalizing relaxation... 

The fact that mantras have healing vibrations that go with the exercises - have taught me to sing in public...

The fact that interesting "shining" people are popping out around kundalini yoga...

The fact that it subtly reverses old habits, or that it conspicuously requires one to behave more lovingly and live healthier and consciously...

...These are all the reasons why I love this yoga, why I am not looking for any other, and why I share it with others with a great feeling of gratitude and humility.

WHAT I LIKE...

A table full of good food surrounded by friends, kids, dogs, chaos and joy. Fire... full moon... starry sky... eye contact or conversation with random passers-by... sitting outside in front of the cafe and watching life... recycle... not to waste... not to need... to make marmalades, pestos, cakes from whatever ingredients available without exact recipes...

WHAT BRINGS ME THE FEELING OF BLISS...

To lay down on the grass and stare into the clouds...to surf at sunrise.

WHAT MAKES ME SHIVER...

The majesty of the wave in a stormy sea...

You know the feeling when you enter into an unknown space with concern, but when you enter, any doubts go away, you feel safe and even feel that you are being healed ..? So these are my exact feelings when I am near my yogic teacher Jana Long. With her presence she can awake in me the feeling that I’m  in the world exactly where I’m supposed to be.

This feeling is amplified even more after the end of the kundalini yoga lesson, where I go back to life a bit more self-conscious in my own journey. This is the power of Kundalini Yoga and the Art of Teacher - Jana, who will guide you through.

Jana and I met in 2006  in Costa Rica.  At that time my Yoga practice had not yet included Kundalini. Jana invited me to participate in the practices she led.  I was skeptical; however, I trusted her patience and her skill and I found myself enjoying Kundalini.  Then, eventually, it happened: I felt that magnificent Kundalini energy travel up through my seven chakras and I could say to Jana “I get it!”  She merely smiled. . . her loving and judgment-free and knowing smile.

So! If you're having any doubts about practicing Kundalini Yoga with Jana, please, put them aside. Now. Just show up, trust her and she and Kundalini will change your life. ”

Understand: there are few people who would be less attracted to the idea of ​​practicing yoga than me. I am either fast and efficient, or just want to be content in the café's timelessness; But somehow it happened that after years of shared friendship (we have kids with Jana, you know), I told myself to give it a chance. And it was great! I didn't understand anything, I felt comical in places, my body hurt in places, but everything was fine just as it was. And the feeling of ease after!

If I was so kind, I wish Jana as a girlfriend to the whole world... but I'm not, so I'll just lend her to you as a kundalini teacher :-)
